The JumpStart Career Program started out of a need to develop
consultants to support the accounting and technology requirements of
small and mid-size clients. The JumpStart Career Program provides
college students with an Internship where they can participate in a
“real-world” business environment. The JumpStart Career Program has
evolved into a program that has been recognized for its ability in
providing highly qualified entry- level talent for a niche market and
has proven to be a win-win situation for both the client and the
Intern/consultant.
Over the
last three years, we have developed 95 Interns with the knowledge to
succeed by providing each of them with “real-world” experience. We
have matched up this experience with a need by a majority of our
clients who have a strong desire to hire the Interns full-time after
they completed the “try before you buy concept” of an Internship.
Each Intern also has the opportunity to evaluate each of the clients
they consulted with to determine which one is a best fit for them
too. This process allows for a more “successful” fit for both the
client and candidate and a greater candidate retention rate.
